The Scotland international and his team- mates should have added to their lead before Palmer equalised against the run of play, and Chelsea were right in the game at 1-1.  McTominay's second came from a header that withstood a VAR check, though, and the Blues offered precious little thereafter.  Three points take United up to sixth ahead of Saturday's clash with Bournemouth, while Chelsea, still searching for consistency, stay 10th and play Everton next on Sunday.
