Manchester United book their place in the FA Cup fourth round after a dominant 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic, who were somewhat fortunate to escape with a narrow defeat as the Red Devils struggled in front of goal.  Ten Hag’s side dominated the first half, barring Aasgaard’s glorious third-minute opportunity, and headed in at half-time 1-0 up thanks to Dalot’s 22nd-minute opener that came from a fine curling finish into the bottom-right corner.  Hojlund missed two presentable chances in the opening period, while Rashford and McTominay perhaps should have scored, too. Morris' first-half piledriver had already got the Exiles faithful off their feet, and Will Evans' equaliser just two minutes into the second half sparked absolute bedlam, locking the hosts up at 2-2 and giving the shell-shocked visitors a mountain to climb!
