Morris' first-half piledriver had already got the Exiles faithful off their feet, and Will Evans' equaliser just two minutes into the second half sparked absolute bedlam, locking the hosts up at 2-2 and giving the shell-shocked visitors a mountain to climb! Chances came and went for both Fernandes and Martinez, before Shaw's curling finish came back off the post and Antony tapped home the rebound to restore United's lead. 

Newport pressed for yet another equaliser with goalscorers Evans and Morris testing Bayindir from range, but the Red Devils would have the final say, splitting the Exiles through the middle for Hojlund to net their fourth via another rebounded shot. 

Having dug deep to avoid one of the FA Cup's ultimate giant-killings, the Red Devils head into the fifth round to face either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest, while Newport's journey in the tournament ends after giving the best possible account of themselves.

Chelsea set to announce German football club RB Leipzig technical director following his sacking Christopher Vivell is expected to join Chelsea as technical director, the PA news agency understands. Vivell has been Chelsea’s top target to replace Petr Cech, who left his technical director role in the summer. Chelsea are understood to have held talks for some time with Vivell, who was sacked from his director role at RB Leipzig in a surprise move this week.
