Chelsea are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 4-0 win over Preston. For the first 55 minutes or so, it was actually a tight game, with both sides struggling to find a breakthrough. 

Things flipped on their head when Broja got on the end of Gusto's cross to flick a header past Woodman 58 minutes in. Silva came off the bench to double their lead from a corner, thumping his header past the keeper before Sterling curled in a free-kick from just outside the box three minutes later. 

Fernandez rounded things off late on, with the goal given after a lengthy VAR check showed that he wasn't offside as originally flagged. Chelsea will find out on Monday who they'll face in the next round, and they have the first leg of an EFL Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough in midweek. Preston's poor run of form continues as they're knocked out of the FA Cup, and their attention turns back to the Championship when they face Bristol City next time out. That's all for today, goodbye!
