Only Burnley (0) have earned fewer points at home than Everton (4) in the Premier League this season. Indeed, it’s the fewest points the Toffees have ever picked up from their opening seven home matches of a league season.


Manchester United have won five of their last six Premier League games (L1). Since the start of October, their five wins and 15 points are both the most any side has recorded in the competition.

Manchester United scored three goals in a Premier League away game for the first time since their 6-3 defeat at Manchester City in October 2022, while this was their biggest margin of victory on the road in the competition since a 3-0 win at Tottenham in October 2021.

The red card to Fikayo Tomori was a key moment in Milan’s loss to Chelsea yesterday but despite seeming harsh, it was technically the correct call according to the laws of the game. In the 17th minute of the match, the English defender was beaten to a through-ball by Mason Mount and found himself on the wrong side of the Chelsea man. Mount managed to get a limp shot away after jostling with Tomori and eyebrows were instantly raised when referee Daniel Siebert pointed to the spot and produced a red card, sending off the Rossoneri centre back. Chelsea set to announce German football club RB Leipzig technical director following his sacking Christopher Vivell is expected to join Chelsea as technical director, the PA news agency understands. Vivell has been Chelsea’s top target to replace Petr Cech, who left his technical director role in the summer.
