GOOOOOOAAAALLL!!! Chelsea have turned it around!! Loftus-Cheek wins possession on halfway with a brilliant tackle, before surging through the middle and feeding Sterling. Four years deal agreement reached as Todd Boehly makes official announcement on first Chelsea imminent transfer.... During Roman Abramovich's time as owner, the London side were regularly among the biggest spenders in the Premier League. However, after Boehly's group completed their takeover, with the deal formally announced in May, some supporters were left wondering whether the days of big-money deals will continue. The final season of Abramovich's 19-year tenure saw Chelsea finish third, some distance behind Manchester City and Liverpool. Video Highlights: Chelsea 3-2 Brighton - All Goals (Watch)

Ten-man Chelsea hold on to get a vital home win as they beat Brighton 3-2. The Blues made a perfect start to the game, with two corners causing Brighton all sorts of problems.  Fernandez headed in his first Premier League goal from the first, while Colwill thumped in his first Chelsea goal to double their tally.  That lead was halved just before the break, with Buonanotte curling in a wonderful strike before Gallagher received his second yellow card.  Fernandez got his second of the game in the 65th minute from the spot after Milner fouled Mudryk, and it took Brighton until stoppage time to pull back another, with Pedro flicking it in at the near post.  In the dying moments, the referee awarded a spot-kick to the Seagulls for handball, but it was overturned by VAR. It's a win that lifts Chelsea into 10th, and they'll be hoping to build some momentum off this as they travel to Manchester United on Wednesday.  Brighton stay in eighth, with Brentford at home next u...

See the latest update on Chelsea defender Reece James injury and possible return date. Reece James has been in outstanding form this season but hobbled off against AC Milan in the Champions League earlier this week and is set for a short spell on the sidelines. According to Evening Standard, James will undergo further tests before Chelsea discover the extent of the damage. The report claims that Graham Potter's side are 'optimistic' he'll make a quick recovery and Phillips reckons he's likely to sit out the meetings with Aston Villa and Brentford and is targeting the visit of Manchester United on Saturday week.
